I love your designs! How can I place an order?

Please note, due to a rapid increase in popularity, we are currently booked solid for the remainder of the 2018 year and cannot accept additional bespoke orders at this time. We hope to have an online storefront in the near future.

Can you make me [insert desired design] in latex?

Yes! Please feel free to send  inspiration of any kind and your vision can be translated into a shiny masterpiece! Kirsten Li Designs will not, however, duplicate another latex designer's work.

How much does a bespoke design cost?

Bespoke designs start at $500 and can go up from there. A $200 non-refundable deposit is required before any work can commence. Exact quotes cannot be given until we know just what you’re looking for, how much work it will entail, and how much latex is involved. There will generally be a 10-15% change in the final cost vs the initial quote. Please note bespoke orders are subject to sales tax.

How long does the process take for a bespoke design?

Generally, the minimum timeline is 4-8 weeks, design depending. The process includes a consultation and three fittings. 

I’m not local to NYC! Can I still work with you on a bespoke design?

Yes! For clients who are not local to NYC, the design, consultation and fit process is done via mail.  A rough garment will be shipped to you, at your expense, for a fitting with any fit issues to be corrected afterwards. Clients are responsible for shipping charges. Please contact us directly for more information.

Is there a charge for the initial consultation?

Yes! A $50 Appointment Fee will be charged at the start of your Consultation Appointment. If you decide to move forward with your garment, the Appointment Fee will be applied to the price of your final garment. If you miss your appointment, this fee is non-refundable. Please see the Appointment Policy here.

My event is coming up fast! Can you do a rush order?

Yes! We can certainly accommodate your special event. However, any order placed under the 4 week minimum incurs a $250 additional fee plus applicable expedited shipping fees.

I changed my mind. I want to cancel my order. Can I have my deposit back?

No. Deposits are non-refundable.

We’re halfway through my design, and I have some new, awesome ideas! Can we make changes?

Yes! Design changes can be accomplished, however they are subject to an additional fee. 

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, all major credit cards and electronic payments via a QuickBooks link. Payment plans are available for bespoke orders upon request.

Do you do repairs?

Yes! Please check out the general price list here. Please note we are unable to guarantee repairs for chlorinated latex or repairs on garments older than 10 years.

Do you lend your garments for photoshoots?

Yes! Please provide a pull letter for indicating the intended use of the garment, as well as any anticipated publications or photographs. Please give us at least 24hours advanced notice so we have time to pull the necessary garments. Fees may or may not apply. Garment rental is limited to in stock items. Requests for custom made items will be processed as an order. 



Some individuals are sensitive and/or allergic to latex and/or rubber intended for extended skin contact. Such sensitivity and/or allergic reaction can be severe. Kirsten Li recommends the customer do a small skin patch test prior to the purchasing of the garment. The customer agrees that Kirsten Li Designs, LLC shall not be responsible for any such sensitivity and/or allergic reaction the customer may experience as a result of wearing the Kirsten Li apparel. Furthermore, the customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Kirsten Li Designs, LLC., its officers, employees, agents, successors and assigns from any and all such claims whether based on contract, tort, or any other legal theory.
